Mobile Security: Manage your alerts and notifications

Manage your account alerts and notifications to help stay on top of what’s happening with your money.

Types of alerts

1. Go to More in the navigation along the bottom of mobile banking.
   
   
2. Select Profile and settings from the list.
   
   
3. Select Alerts & notifications and choose a notification type from the list,
   1. Transactional notifications,
   2. Security notifications,
   3. New bill payee,
   4. New e-Transfer recipient.

About Transactional notifications

1. Transactional notifications can be set-up for each of your accounts. While notification options vary by account type, here are some notification examples:
   1. Low balance
   2. Approaching credit limit (set balance limit)
   3. Account overdrawn
   4. Insufficient funds for scheduled transfer
   5. Insufficient funds for scheduled bill payment
   6. Debit card use (set balance limit)
   7. International ATM withdrawals
   8. Direct deposit
   9. Withdrawals (set balance limit).
   10. Select the notification arrow on the right-hand side to edit, subscribe, or unsubscribe from the notification. When done, select Save to activate change.

About Security notifications

1. The Security notification you subscribe to will be applied to all of your profiles. Alterna has defined some notification as mandatory. You cannot unsubscribe from these types of notification, but you can change the channel in which they are received.
   
   Set-up notifications for:
   1. Login
   2. Change password (required)
   3. Lock user
   4. New biometric registration (required)
   5. Lock password
   6. Login a new device (required)
   7. New secure message
      
   8. Select the notification arrow on the right-hand side to edit, subscribe, or unsubscribe from the notification. When done, select Save to activate change.

About Bill payee notifications

1. The Bill payee notification alerts you when a new bill payee is added to your profile. This alert is mandatory, and you cannot unsubscribe from this type of notification.
   
   

About New e-Transfer recipient notifications

1. The New e-Transfer recipient notification alerts you when a new e-Transfer recipient is added to your profile. This alert is mandatory, and you cannot unsubscribe from this type of notification.
